dudes, new jams from the sheepdogs :: ‘feeling good’
HOLY FUCKING SHIT, Y’ALL. There’s a couple things we need to address here.
A. Clearly this shit was produced by Pat Carney, he of The Black Keys fame, and even if you weren’t aware of that fact prior to this jam infecting your eustachians, it’d be evident now and your brain would be all, “Sonuvabitch, man. Are bands knocking off The Keys now?!” Those comparisons are going to be made no doubt but if you, dear reader, are a hardcore Sheepdogs fan as we are — we’ll follow a band working hard to bring rock back to the ends of the fucking Earth, don’t ‘ya know — you’ll hear that “Feeling Good” still has the same bones it did when it was but a demo on lead Sheepdog Ewan Currie’s bandcamp. When listening to the two versions of the song it’s obvious that the heart of the jam remains the same. It ain’t a rip off and it’s not a Black Keys copy. IT’S A GODDAMN STELLAR JAM. There will be debate about this, of course, but we implore you to ignore it. Please just shut the fuck up and rock, k?
B. There is no B. Unless we want to count the fact that rock is not dead as B. ROCK IS ALIVE.
