the bitterroot band :: mason jar ep

It is a well-known fact that I am partial to those musical things that sound of my home. I very quickly fall in love with music that my great granny, a square dancin’ lady who loved a good jig in the kitchen with her music on, would have cherished. The Bitterroot Band makes just those kind of jams…

Early this month, the band released their Mason Jar EP, 4 songs full of raw folk harmony and stomp backed with banjo and fiddle. In short, this little EP is quite perfect and a dollar a song seems far too little to ask for such righteous jams. This is a porch band at it’s finest.

Take in our favorite tune from Mason Jar below and head over to Bandcamp to snag the album.
