6am repeat :: great american canyon band // ‘tumbleweed’ (and some retrospection)

6am Repeat is a recurring feature here at Folk Hive in which we stream the latest track that plays incessantly in the earbuds when we awake at that hour and imbibe massive amounts of coffee and cigarettes in preparation for the advancing day.  Consider it your jam of the day — a sweet, sweet gift from me to you.  I love you, dude.

[Look at these goddamn hippies. They’re cooler than everyone I know, combined. Aren’t they fantastic?]

Last night, this song was brought to my attention. I dreamt about it last night while I was soaring over mountains and through clouds, while wearing a fringed suede vest, my long hair flowing. SWEAR TO GOD, I WAS NOT HIGH.

Below, you should seriously snag the download of this jam. And for a little retrospection, snag ‘A Song For The Rest’ from GACB’s Wild Heart EP. THEN, hit up those handy links down yonder and keep your eyes keenly peeled for their new album, forthcoming.

I know it’s early. That’s why I made you a list.
