6am Repeat is a recurring feature here at Folk Hive in which we stream the latest track that plays incessantly in the earbuds when we awake at that hour and imbibe massive amounts of coffee and cigarettes in preparation for the advancing day. Consider it your jam of the day — a sweet, sweet gift from me to you. I love you, dude.
The sun is rising earlier (I think), signifying that winter is in it’s last throes. I can see the grass, I can see the fat birds of a morning, picking at what little goodies are left in the trees outside the front window. The wind is hell but windy days are farther and farther apart. I’m busting out the mocassins and the tank tops, willing this season to give up the ghost and get on with it.
I’m listening to The Broken Numbers Band.
